THE PROCEEDS FROM THE SALE OF THIS NECKLACE HAVE BEEN SPECIFICALLY DEDICATED TO THE PURCHASE OF CEREAL FOR OUR LOCAL HUNGER COALITION. The Hunger Coalition of Boone distributes 400-500 boxes of food monthly....many without the presence of a box of cereal, as it is a costly commodity. Michael and I have chosen this as our mission.....to make sure that every care package that helps to feed hungry families and children in our area contains a box of cereal. What seems insignificant to most of us, is vital to many of those in need. As with my other charitable listings, I will update you on exactly how your purchase helped to nurture someone's life. The more elements and components I can use in a piece, the happier I am! And this necklace is no exception......beautiful Jasper spheres of green grays, blue grays, golds, and coppers are wired with Sterling Silver wire and sit on opposite sides of a wonderful Labradorite slab. To pull color from the Jasper and Labrodorite, I used large chunks of Aquamarine....Old Gold color enhanced cultured Freshwater Potato Pearls....and faceted Carnelian drops. To continue the feel of the spheres, is a section of large hammered Sterling Silver chain with drops of Carnelian and Aquamarine....and still another style of round link Sterling chain completes the necklace. In addition to the Old Gold Freshwater Pearls, I used a 14kt Gold Filled chain to bring out the colors of the Jasper, while making it a versatile piece that can be worn with either the silver or gold.....or both! A smaller Labrodorite slab dangles elegantly to the side for added interest! This beautiful and unique necklace finishes at approximately 27" and is an over the head piece with no clasp.
