Imperial Carnival Glass: Pitcher with Juice Glasses

Imperial Glass made many beautiful products and this is one of them. This is a water or juice pitcher with six matching glasses. It is in the pattern called May Flower and is in the Marigold color of carnival glass. You will need to clear 9 inches for the height of the pitcher and it holds 40 ounces. The glasses hold 6 ounces. The pitcher alone weighs 5 1/2 pounds. The May Flower pattern features a large deeply cut flower (daisy) within an arch and the bridge areas between the flowers are fully cut. The handle is faceted.

This a great find for the collector. It is mint in condition with no scratches, chips, cracks or repairs. Carnival glass is often graded for iridescence and luster; this set is excellent in that point. The IG mark is on each piece; center bottom from the inside view. The set is from the 60s to 70s.
