1940s Baby Hot Water Nursery Rhyme Feeding Dish

This delightful vintage baby dish kept food warm by adding water to the bottom of the dish. This ceramic dish is set in a metal base and has a pink plastic handles and a pink plastic stopper. The divided dish has an illustration of Little Bow Peep, a kitten licking up milk and a white dog with a pink bow. There is a pink stripe around the rim and the stopper is accented with embossed flowers and leaves. The dish measures 8" in diameter and 10 1/4" in width when measuring the handles. It has some mild resides on the silver-toned metal but the decoration is bright and unscratched.
