SALE GAR Lapel, US Star & American Legion Pins

"Grand Army of the Republic 1861 Veteran 1866" surrounds a stamped image on the wonderful antique bronze lapel tack. Inside the top of the tack reads, "Patent 22 1894". The back of the tack has a picture of a camp fire with a suspended pot over it. The tack is in very good condition with a slight bend on the back and measures 5/8" in diameter.

The bronze star reads, "US" in the center with a holly wreath around the star. This is also a lapel tack and has no pin back. It is in excellent condition and measures 5/8" in diameter..

The third piece in this set is a blue enameled sterling "American Legion" pin with a similar star with "US" in the center. The pin has a screw-on type backing and the back of the pin reads, "Pat. De. 54296 Sterling". This piece is in excellent condition and measures 1/2" in diameter.
