"Jack Hall or The School Days of an American Boy" was written by Robert Grant and illustrated by F.G. Attwood. It was published by Jordan March and Company, Boston copyright 1887. Chapters include: "How Jack Spent the Forenoon of Washington's Birthday", "A Day Of Reckoning" and "Hazeltine Makes His Debut". The book contains fun black and white illustrations of the boys in their escapades.
The book has an olive cloth cover with black illustrations and gilded title. It is in good vintage condition with some soiling and scuffing on the front cover as well as bumping on the corners. The pages are clean and there is some separation at the front cover's spine.
