This first edition vintage children's book, "Miss Suzy's Birthday" was written by Miriam Young and illustrated by Arnold Lobel. Copyrighted in 1974 this is a Parents' Magazine Press book. Complete with its dust jacket this sweet book continues the adventures of Miss Suzy the squirrel and her four adopted children. "Mrs. Chipmunk, along with Mouse, Mole, Robin, Rabbit and Crow plan a surprise birthday party" for Miss Suzy.

Mr. Lobel's wonderful watercolor illustrations bring the story to life. The book has an illustrated paper boards and is in excellent vintage condition complete with its dust jacket. There is a tiny stain on the front dust jacket as well as some slight creasing along the top edge and at the right corner. Otherwise the binding is tight, the pages clean and the dust jacket in great condition.
