"Dickens's Children -- Ten Drawings by Jessie Willcox Smith" was copyrighted 1912 and published by Charles Scribners Sons. Each page features an illustration of one of Charles Dickens child characters from one story. Characters include: "Tiny Time and Boby Cratchit on Christmas Day", "Pip and Joe Gargery" and "The Runaway Couple" from "Christmas Stories" to name three. The book has an olive cloth cover with a round paste-down illustration. A gold gilded wreath surrounds the cover illustration with gilded lettering beneath. The book is in excellent vintage condition with some bumping at the corners and shelf wear at the edges of the spine. The glossy pages are minimally yellowed and the binding is tight.
