"America's Largest-Selling Movie Magazine -- Photoplay" was edited by Tony Gray. This June 1953 edition features Ann Blyth on the cover. Articles include "Charlton Loves Lydia", "Down Mexico Way (John Wayne, Gary Cooper)", and "Crosby and Son". "Features in Color" include "Bat Hunter and Debbie Reynolds", "June Allyson" and "Rosemary Clooney". There is also an article with Marilyn Monroe entitled "Why Gentlemen Prefer Blondes".

This great vintage magazine features full color as well as black and white photos. The ads in the magazine include up coming movies as well as the usual toothpaste and soap ads.

The magazine is in fair condition with some separating of the cover at the spine (see photos). The front cover as well as the first 8 pages have a water stain at the bottom and there is some foxing on the cover. There is some tearing of the spine at the top and a couple pieces of tape have been put on by a previous owner. A great collection of wonderful ads and movie photos!
