... presented for your consideration is my “Loving Touch” pendant necklace. This necklace was completely hand wired and features an ornate Victorian inspired design. No solder or glue was used in the creation of the focal pendant. I learned some of the wiring techniques used in this necklace from talented and inspiring artisan, Eni Oken, Lisa Barth, Erin Paten and Perri Jackson. The faceted fancy cut tourmaline gemstones used for the focal bead and the closure are breathtaking. The pendant is designed in a three dimensional fashion and the focal bead swings from the inside and is surrounded on the front by 3.5mm faceted citrine rondelles. On each of the four corners is a 4 x 6 mm faceted tourmaline briolette. There are two chains attached to the pendant, one of which is a tiny rollo chain interspersed with 3.6mm faceted tourmaline rondelles. In the photos, I have shown the back, front and side of the pendant. It was very difficult to photograph. The pendant is 1 1/4 by 1 inch (32mm x 25mm). The overall length of the necklace is adjustable from 18 to 19 ½ inches. It closes with an “s” clasp. All metal used in this necklace is sterling silver. Please note that the bust I use for display is not to scale, so jewelry my appear larger or longer than the actual size. Please check the measurements.
