SOLD T&V Ladies Spittoon with Hand Painted Pink Roses

Pretty and difficult to find is this T&V Limoges ladies spittoon molded and hand painted to look like a silk or satin purse tied with a fancy, gold drawstring. The exterior is painted in a iridescent powder blue and creamy ecru and the interior features a bouquet of pink roses nestled in lush greenery, twisted vines and sharp thorns. It measures 5 inches by 4.5 inches and reversed is a Tressemann & Vogt Limoges hallmark used between1892 and 1907. Today, this pretty, Limoges piece could be used as a tray for vanity items. a small vase for rose petals or a sweet soap dish.

With exception of slight gold wear around the rim, this French beauty is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or paint flakes.
