Henriette Ladies 8 Ball Compact with Original Box

According to Laura Mueller, who wrote MUELLER'S OVERVIEW OF AMERICAN COMPACTS & VANITY CASES, this ebony, "Eight Ball" compact is "very, very rare." Both the interior and exterior are in near pristine condition with just a hint of foxing around the rim of the mirror. It comes with a fluffy white, powder puff and powder sifter as well as the original box. The box is not in the best of shape but considering the age, the condition is not surprising. The compact measures 2" by 2" and appears to have never been used. Great addition to a compact collection!
