Here is a delightful pineapple jewelry set from Sarah Coventry. The brooch has a very large, juicy pear shaped fancy cut faceted glass stone in a lovely amber color. Its leafy crown is in textured gold tone metal with serrated edges and the earrings echo the crown design. The brooch is 1-7/8 inches long and 1-1/4 inches at its widest. The earrings are 1-1/2 inches long and 1-1/4 inches wide. They have clip on backs and are also marked "L" and "R" for correct ear relationship. The brooch is often not accompanied by its earrings, this is a nice find. The set is 1960s and is in wonderful condition. The pineapple has long been a cheerful symbol of hospitality and welcome.
