This doll is from the period of 1865 or so and unmarked. The shoulder plate does have a hairline crack that has been there for a long time. The body may not be original and certainly one of the arms is not because it does not match the other. The clothes, while older, are not original. The china legs legs are the type with little boots and bows. The nice thing about this doll, is that she presents well and at 13" is a nice display size. Her face has a tiny pepper spot and the hair in the back has slight rubs. She wears a sunbonnet, blouse, skirt and pantaloons and slip.
