This is a collector favorite among the German dolls. Her look is so appealing and her face looks so "just right". This example wears an original dress with a yoke and red trimming around the hem and sleeves. Her socks and oilcloth shoes are original. She wears an antique pink ruffled bonnet; her mohair wig is newer but very appropriate for this model. She also has muslin undies. Her body finish is original and her body is in good condition. Her bisque is very nice and her painting is great with one exception--she seems to have a "mole" above her left eyebrow where I suppose a small dot of paint landed before firing. Her sleep eyes work well. She does have a small right cheek rub . I love this size doll--it displays so well and can be shown with many furniture examples to make an interesting display.
