These items are all from the early 1900's-1920's Schoenhut circus. There were many animals and people that belonged to the circus. The poodle is a bit harder to find than some of the other items. This poodle is in nice shape with all original paint. His legs could use a bit of tightening. The clown is really nice--all paint is there. His collar has been added. The chair is included and was used by many of the performers for all their stunts.

This great little wooden horse still retains his bridle and halter. Odd that that little piece of leather would last a hundred years. Schoenhut designed many pieces to create his toy circus. There were several horses and this brown horse is one of them. He is nicely strung and has all his paint. The clown is not included. Height 6" at the shoulders and 9" in length.

This is a real rabbit hair coat for Maggie or somewhat smaller dolls. When I was a young'un, we called these kinds of coats "chubs". I suppose for the obvious reason they were not exactly slimming although they were warm. Anyway, this one is in good condition with a few resewn areas at the side seams. No real thin areas of fur though. Your doll will be warm as a cinnamon bun in this. Measurements are: 5"L, 4" sleeves and 4" shoulders.

This old cotton apron and sunbonnet is perfect for a larger type china doll. The doll that is modeling it is about 2o". The apron and bonnet are made of the same striped cloth and the bonnet features non-working button attachments (people size bonnets used, of course, working buttons). The apron has a pocket and a center smocked section and bottom frill. The length of the apron is about 13". There are lots of worn spots on the ties but they are still functional.
