14K Gold Filled Ladies 6 size huntingcase pocketwatch, circa 1887. The watch is in excellent condition and beautifully engraved. A .10 ct. mine cut diamond is set in a star on the rear case cover. The star is set in an engraved sunburst surrounded by a scalloped and houndstooth engraved design. The engraved pattern is the same on the front cover with the exception of the sunburst pattern which is replaced with an area to be personalized. Movement and dial are signed Elgin. The porcelain dial has a faint hairline near the subsidiary seconds dial. Lever set movement runs and keeps time. This watch is a perfect gift as it has no personalization.( Pictures show shadows that cause engraving to disappear in certain areas).
