Captivating Art Nouveau Sterling Brooch

Featuring an absolutely stunning Art Nouveau Brooch with excellent details and workmanship. This beautiful piece has a combination of two periods; expressed on the different motifs, from Late Victorian (such as stars & flowers) to Art Nouveau (female head & stones cut in cabochon) It is a high-quality piece made by a Japanese Company Name: Toyokoki & CPO (Central Purchasing Order)inside a diamond shape mark.This stamp was required on all items sold in military bases in Japan after WWII. This doesn't mean that is a piece from the forty's, it only means that it was purchased during that period. It is vermeil on 950 Silver. It has the tube or trombone clasp with ball hinge, which was popular in the 1890's, but it can be found on many European pieces. The glass stones are cut in cabochon with open back, which creates very charming accents on any type of light. I consider this beautiful and elegant brooch very unique and rare, since I have not encounter anything even similar during my intensive research. This brooch is huge, measuring 4 1/4 inches long by 2 1/4 inches wide.
