Featuring an old an beautiful pair of French lorgnette or opera glasses. They were called "Opera Glasses but are actually reading glasses with a slight magnification of 1.5 to 1.75 (by focal). A push-button unfolds this pair of clear, magnifying glasses. The mechanism works very smooth. To make this pair more personal, there is a small plate open for your own monogram. They are excellent to be worned on a long silk ribbon. The overall condition is excellent, with a tiny exception of a very small hairline on one of the panels, which by the way does not interfere with the use of the glasses.
