"JUST AN ABSOLUTE BEAUTY" ~ Gorgeous Victorian Era Antique hand painted MZ Austrian Chocolate Pot, or Chocoliatiere ~ completely handpainted with "STUNNING AMETHYST VIOLETS", circa 1900. This Gorgeous and Fine Vintage Heirloom Beauty has been remarkably handpainted by an early 20th Century American porcelain artist in the naturalistic floral art style.

This Fabulous Porcelain Mold portrays Large Beautiful African Violets with white enameling centers nestled in lovely greenery ~ the delicate background wash is a subtle blend of yellow cream and beautiful soft lavender ~ the varied colored scheme is skillfully blended both around the lid and sides of the pot down to the lovely scalloped base. This is an exceptional well executed china painting by a very skilled porcelain artist of the Turn-of-the-Century.

The elegantly shaped split ornate handle has been decorated in heavy Roman Coin Gold. The rim is also elegantly scrolled with beautiful gold work ~ as well as the beautiful and quite stunning Pouring Spout and Darling Flower-Shaped Finial on top. This beauty is in Excellent to Near Mint Condition ~ I find no chips, cracks, hairlines, gold loss, paint loss, paint flakes, scratches, repairs, or stains. Measures 10 1/4" tall from base to tip of finial. Bears the Moritz Zdekauer underglaze hallmark, in green, used between 1884 and 1909. Please email me if you have any questions.
