I do my best to describe all items accurately, and I consider my photographs to be an integral part of the descriptions. If you have any questions, would like to see a specific view, or have additional knowledge about an item that might help me do better, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Ruby Lane and each of its independent shops want you to be satisfied with your purchase. To ensure your satisfaction and for the protection of both the buyer and shop owner, we have a Return Policy that each Ruby Lane shop owner honors. View Return Policy now.

Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy:
Some of my items ship FREE within the US. I ship most small, light boxes USPS Priority. Larger boxes (over 12 x 12 x 12), heavy boxes, or packages traveling longer distances may ship USPS Parcel Post, or with a private carrier such as FedEx, FedEx Ground, or UPS.

Insurance is required. Insurance is not available to certain countries, and shipping to these countries will be at my discretion, and at the customers risk.

I will be happy to provide a shipping quote and arrange shipping for large items, including furniture. For large furniture I use reputable, professional shippers who provide "white glove" service within the Continental United States. I can suggest shippers and/or provide a shipping quote for these items to Alaska, Hawaii, and many other destinations worldwide. Please inquire.

My studio and storage are located in Verbank, NY, in the heart of the Mid Hudson Valley Region, an hour and a half north of NYC... a beautiful drive in the country. Convenient also to the Boston, Philadelphia, and Albany areas. Items are available for personal pick-up by appointment. Drop me a line, or give me a call.

Restocking Fee:
If you have paid for shipping, there is no restocking fee. However, shipping/packing/handling/insurance and other associated costs are non-refundable, as are any other non-recoverable costs associated with a returned purchase.

If an item(s) ships for free, there is a restocking fee equal to my shipping/packing/handling/insurance costs, including any other non-recoverable costs associated with a returned purchase.

I am happy to arrange layaways on an individual basis. Layaways are not covered by Ruby Lane's return policy, and are subject to a 20% restocking fee if they are returned or canceled.

Other Information:
Orders shipped to New York State, or picked up from me in NY, will be assessed NYS sales tax. If the item(s) are being purchased for resale, you must provide a Resale Certificate (hard copy) completed with your valid NY Tax Exempt Number and declaration of intention to resell the item being purchased. No exceptions.

All payments must be in USD and clear before shipment.

Buyer is responsible for any and all Bank Charges assessed by my Bank should their payment not clear.

Payment is expected within ten days.
