The decorative sterling silver mounts have a spot for a monogram, but it has never been engraved. How fortunate for you, add your own, or better yet your sweeties initials... what a touching surprise!
Condition is grand, with only normal wear to the silver mount. I see no problems with the glass, even on the tip of the cone shaped stopper which is original to the piece. The bottom is ground with a crisply cut star. The bottle is clean, the slight yellowish cast in the photos at the bottom is a reflection of the antique material used to hold the silver mount to the neck; somehow the camera picks this up but the eye does not. Marked with British sterling hallmarks with the leopard's head for London and a date and maker's mark as shown. Measures 7 1/2" to the top of the stopper, and has an approximately 3" bottom diameter.
A terrific addition to a collection, or a great way to begin one. Did I mention just how brightly the facets of this finely cut bottle glitter? It's a really exceptional piece, and will enhance almost any setting with a touch of opulence.
