This effervescent fellow has a big mouth... and an appetite for ping pong balls or small beanbags. Once a carnival game, he is now a wonderful piece of Folk Art, standing ready to decorate a mantle, table, shelf... just about anywhere that could use a touch of whimsy.

Condition is great with expected wear to the paint and original fabric bag, pretty amazing that it's there at all, no? Measuring 16 5/8" tall and 9 1/8" wide at the hips, this little joker is made of solid quarter inch boards. Even the base looks to have been glued up of quarter inchers... but if it is a commercial product, it certainly hasn't been available for a very long time. I would guesstimate a 1920's or 1930's date.

A fanciful piece that brings a touch of frolicsome wonder along for the ride. Hop aboard.
