This stunning ceramic sculpture of a mother and child has a dual personality, stark and modern in its form but warm and loving in its interpretation of the subject.

It's a very lovely piece with a monochrome, mottled black glaze and a beatific presence. The perfect complement to a Mid Century design scheme.

Condition is fine with no problems to report. The bottom is covered in its original green felt which I peeled back to reveal the export stamp saying "Made in Belgium." It's quite a sizable piece, measuring 18" tall.
