There was a day when fashionable Victorian ladies wore their watches hanging from watch pins. This adaptable example can also be worn as a pendant, or a brooch all on it's own. It may win in the versatility department, but its main virtue, I would say, is its glittering paste jewels.

My favorite feature of this beauty is the variety in sizes of the paste stones. There are tiny pastes between the small ones which are everywhere, the surface is simply covered... jammed... paved with little sparklers.

Condition is great, no problems really. Marked "Sterling" on the back, this piece is likely American from the late 19th C. 13/16" tall, and 3/4" wide not including the pin which extends almost an additional 1/4". The pendant loop swings up for use, and back down when the piece is worn as a pin. It could be polished if you wish, but I have left it as found since so many prefer the warm glow silver develops over the years.

Wear it on a jacket, sweater, hat, just about anywhere, you might even wear your heart on your sleeve... literally! Don't worry if you haven't got a watch to hang from it now, it looks just great... and who knows, the right watch may just come along and find you.
