This opulently decorated shell dish is a fantastic treasure that will have you marveling at Moser's unparalleled craftsmanship.

A real beauty, it is covered on both sides of the glass with exquisite enamel swirls, flowers, and dots, typical of Moser work. There is also a generous amount of gilding, including the crisply ground, beveled edges which are also Moser hallmarks. The bottom flutes are ground flat in a few places, so that the dish sits without rocking.

Condition is wonderful, no chips, cracks or repairs, just a bit of expected wear to the gilding. It is 4¾" long, and stands about 2¼" tall.

This piece is a stunner. Put a few deep red rose petals in it to dry, and leave it on your night stand. You'll love it.
