This cute little pup is a happy, wiggly creature. He stands squarely on the axles that join his two pairs of wheels, and will follow his string where ever you might care to pull it. I just noticed I have clearly decided this frisky looking fellow is a 'he'... not sure why, just seems that way to me.

He is in great condition, with the wear you would expect on a 50 year old vintage toy, give or take a bit. He measures 19¾" from nose to tippy tail, and 11½" to the top of his head, and is unmarked.

Being unmarked, I was speculating about him at dinner, and there was definitely a difference of opinion at my house. It's not whether he's a dalmatian or just an old hound, but that some of us think he was manufactured. I, on the other hand, believe he was home made, probably from project plans in a hobbyist's publication, or possibly even designed by a talented amateur. Not sure, but he certainly is cute whichever side of the table you sit on... and very stylish in black, white, and red.

A wonderful addition to a collection of toys, he doesn't eat much and won't bark... I promise.
