I have tried to identify the marks on the bottom, but cannot definitively attribute it to a maker. "Cobre" is Spanish for 'copper', so I can safely say this piece is either Spanish or Mexican, and since I found it in southern California, I'm going to go with Mexican.
Wherever it was made, it's a fun piece, snappy, full of verve... and not easy to craft... really quite skillfully made. The copper cones just seem to hang on the brass arc, creating a magical presence. I've never seen another like it.
Condition is good. It shows normal age wear, and a natural patina. It stands 7 14" tall, 9 14" wide, and the base measures 3 78" in diameter.
A fanciful piece that will add a dash of originality while it blends with lots of what you've already got.
