A sweet little platter with a typical early to mid 19th C romantic design... two ladies and a gent out for a stroll, body of water with a castle on the distant shore, small boats, rustic bridge and gazebo whose roof curves up with an oriental flair... a lovely design with all the elements we've come to love, framed by a wide border, and presented in a beautiful light blue. The pattern is 'Waverly' by Thomas Edwards circa 1841, and the overall shape of this little piece couldn't be prettier. ...
