Vintage Flint Glass Sweetmeat Dish

This is a stunning little compote possible from the Christian Dorflinger Long Island Flint Glass Works of Brooklyn. It is a fine piece of cut glass with beautiful detail and a resonating ring. It has a fanned saw tooth edge and a cross hatched detail. It has a thick base is square with a star burst design on the bottom. It dates around the mid 1800's.

It measures about 4 7/16" in diameter and about 4" high. The base measures about 2 9/16" square. It is in very nice condition with minimal wear. I found two chips on the teeth as shown in the photo. There are some teeny chips on the base.
