Vintage Oriental Tea Advertising Tip Tray

This is a wonderful old tip tray advertising Cheon Tea. In the center is a beautiful young Japanese woman in traditional costume serving two glasses of iced tea. The colors and detail are beautiful. You can even see the spoons through the tea in the glasses. Below the serving tray it reads; C.D. Kenny Co. which is the manufacturer of the tray. In the gold edge of the tray it reads; For Iced Tea Use Cheon.

It measures about 4 3/8" in diameter and is in very good condition with almost no wear. There is a small blemish in the red area just below her left shoulder. There is also a blemish in the white stripe near the top edge and one more on the outside gold edge at about 2 o'clock. The painted back is in good condition with minimal wear.
