Vintage RS Prussia White Swans - Large Bowl

This stunning porcelain bowl is from the Reinhold Schlegelmilch factories of Germany. This is a beautiful and impressive bowl in the satin finish swan pattern. The design features three white swans amid Grecian columns and arches and pine trees. The edge is scalloped and trimmed in gold. About 3/4" from the edge is a raised bead design. According to Mary Frank Gaston's 1982 Collector's Encyclopedia of R.S. Prussia this is the RSP Mold #301. On the bottom is an ambiguous mark that is smudged and distorted. It resembles the red wreath mark identified as Mark number 4 but there is a ghost of a rectangular shape on the left side. The picture is not blurred, it does reflect what the mark looks like.

It measures about 11" in diameter and 3" high. It is in very nice condition with minimal wear. There is a tiny bit of roughness on a couple of points on the rim and one on the bottom as shown in the photos.
