Vintage RS Germany Berry Bowls - 10 Calla Lily Pattern

These pretty porcelain pieces are from the Reinhold Schlegelmilch factories. There are ten of the old berry bowls each in the attractive Calla Lilies pattern. The pattern features two of the lilies and three arrow shaped leaves with a pale green decorative edge fading to a white center. There are gold accents on the smaller of the edge scallops. According to Mary Frank Gaston's Collector's Encyclopedia of R.S. Prussia this is the RSP Mold #256 ; RSP FD79. On the bottom is the blue, under glaze RS Germany wreath mark identified as Mark 8 in the same book. Several of these are also marked with the impressed "Germany". These match the set of dessert plates I also have for sale (see item #7938).

They measures about 5" in diameter and 1 3/8" high off the table. They are in very nice condition with mostly minor wear and no damage. A few of the dishes do have wear to the pattern, the worst one is shown in the last picture. On the back of one bowl there is a small hole (it does not go through to the front.) I assume this was a bubble that was polished after the firing. This is a manufacturing flaw (see the photo).
