Vintage Flower Frog - Large, Colorful Parrot with Rich Colors

This is an old pottery flower frog with a colorful parrot perched on what looks like a rock formation with holes for the flower stems. The bird has vibrant glaze colors that resemble Majolica pieces. It has an impressed marked in the bottom that reads; Made in Japan and is probably from the 1920’s or 30’s.

It measures about 8 3/4” tall and the base measures about 5” by 4 1/4”. It is in very good condition with minimal wear, no chips or cracks.
