Vintage Airedale Dog Figurine

This is an old hand painted figure of what I believe is an Airedale. The dog is nicely detailed and has wonderful facial character. On the bottom it has a design number 5275 and was probably made in Japan for Lefton or one of the other importers of ceramic and bisque items.

It measures about 5 1/16” to the top of the ear and about 5 5/8” from the nose to the back of the foot. It is in very nice condition with little to no wear and no damage.
