This pretty piece is an old figure of a couple presumably dancing the minuet. They are beautifully dressed in colorful attire which is adorned with lots of ruffles. The faces are nicely painted. It has some of the detailing of Meissen pieces but certainly is not the same quality. Much of the piece is painted with gold accents. On the bottom it is marked with a raised, embossed mark that looks something like crossed swords that I am unfamiliar with.

It measures about 6” to the top of her hand. The base measures about 4 5/16” by 3 1/8”. It is in very nice condition with minimal wear The ruffle on her right sleeve has been chipped which is shown in the pictures.
