Vintage Porcelain Figural Flask with Beetles

This old whiskey nip or flask is one of the most unusual ones I have had in a long while. On what appears to be a tree stump with a couple of leaves are a male and female beetle. I believe these are considered Japanese or Rhinoceros beetles which are popular in Asia and often bought as a pets. The quality is very good and would appear to be a German flask however I believe from the attached paper label that this was probably made in Japan. It has its original porcelain capped cork stopper. The stopper is snug and I have not tried to take it out for fear of breaking the cork.

It measures about 4 5/8” high and is in very good condition with minimal wear and no damage.
