This bald gentleman is one of a series of tall, skinny figures made by the Schafer and Vater company of Germany in the early 1900's. This is "One of the Boys" - with top hat in one hand and bouquet in the other. The detail in his face is wonderful with a silly grin and monocle and rather large ears he's almost a bit eerie. There appear to be no marks anywhere on this piece.

It is in very nice condition with no damage and minimal wear. There is some light wear to the black paint on the front of his baggy pants and a "clump" of porcelain attached to the bottom back edge which was apparently done in manufacturing. It measures about 7 5/8" to the top of his head.
