This hot plate or trivet in the shape of the state of Texas was made by the Frankoma Potteries of Oklahoma. Frankoma made hundreds of trivets, many were advertising. I believe this is their White Sand glaze over the Sapulpa clay. On the bottom it is stamped FRANKOMA U.S.A. and .TST. .
