This old wooden toy with Mickey Mouse is simple but a lot of fun. Mickey hangs from a string suspended between two vertical wood slats. When you squeeze the slats at the bottom, Mickey becomes an acrobat swinging up over the top of the string. He is made of a paper covered cardboard or wood. This old butterscotch Catalin pencil sharpener features Disney's Donald Duck. The decal shows Donald in the foreground waving to his friends with a tree and little cottage in the background. Although difficult to read, this has the copyright mark for Walt Disney Productions just below Donald's left foot. It measures about 1 1/16" in diameter and 7/16" deep. This is an old key chain from Disneyland with Tinkerbell hovering over the entrance to the Magic Kingdom. At the bottom, below Disneyland, it reads; Walt Disney Productions. The charm portion is lightweight and appears metallic with brass and copper highlights. However it is possible that it is made of plastic with a metallic plating. This colorful old celluloid baby rattle is an elaborate version of one shown in Stern's Guide to Disney Collectibles by Collector Books. The rattle shown in that book is a simpler design but obviously of the same time and make. It states that the rattle shown was; used as a Christmas toy and licensed by Walt Disney. This old butterscotch catalin pencil sharpener features one of Disney's favorite cartoon characters. Jiminy Cricket for Pinocchio is tipping his hat on the front of the sharpener.
