This old bicycle lamp is an Old Sol by the Hawthorne Mfg. Co. of Bridgeport Connecticut. The name is on the cap of the vent over the wick. This is an early model with a painted body, nickel vent cap, canister and lens frame. It appears to be complete and all original including the convex front lens, both red and green side jewels and the red rear jewel. The lens door is hinged on the right and clips closed on the left.
