REDUCED English Pink Lustre Tea Bowl and Saucer: Early Nineteenth Century

A pink lustre tea bowl and saucer, the saucer of the deep type as at this period the tea was poured first into the bowl, then into the saucer to cool it, and drunk from the saucer.

The glaze in the centre of the saucer is a little worn, as you would expect, and underneath the rim of the saucer are patches of black speckles under the glaze, a roughness of manufacture indicating the early date of these pieces.
