A photograph printed as a postcard, depicting an early Albion lorry (truck) with a sign 'By Appointment to His Majesty the King'. See the second picture for a close-up of the radiator and badge. These cute bloodhound pups are a print by Edward Julius Detmold, originally published in The Book of Baby Dogs , circa 1910. A very large brass plaque decorated with a Viking ship, which in this area we would call the Ship of Lorn. It measures about 19 inches in diameter, and will date from around 1900. You can see its age from the close-up photographs. It has a hanger attached at the back. I am allowing the patination to develop on the plaque, which has been polished, but can polish it if required.

An unusual Art Deco lamp base and integral shade made from oyster wood - wood cut across the branch to reveal the rings. This has not been pieced. It must have been cut from the top of a pollarded tree with very even branches, then turned on a lathe. About 14 inches in height. Slight crackling to the varnish on the base, otherwise in excellent condition.
