This is a wonderful find "The History of The Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing" by Margene O. Faddis and published by The Alumnae Association of The Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing Cleveland. Ohio 1948. The book was published on the schools 50th. anniversary (1898-1948) and is an inclusive history.

The book contains 10 chapters and 179 pages with FOREWORD written by Winfred G. Leutner President, Western Reserve University. This is an inclusive history of the school with many rare photographs and detailed early history. Chapter 1 gives a "Historical Background" and each chapter follows a chronological history and ends with chapter 10 "In Retrospect and Prospect"

Also included with the book is the Commencement Program and Reunion Booklet for the 50th. Anniversary June 16-17-18-19 1948. "1898-1948 Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing Western Reserve University"

Also included is the First NEWS LETTER (Volume 1 Number 1) from December 1948. The 6 page newsletter features students (with names) wearing uniforms from the first 50 years.
