This is a very nice rare find "MATERIA MEDICA for NURSES" by John E. Groff, Ph. G., apothecary in the Rhode Island Hospital ; Professor of Materia Medica in the Rhode Island College of Pharmacy. The book was rearranged by Lucy C. Ayers, Supernatant of Nurses Training School, Rhode Island Hospital. The book is in great condition without torn or missing pages - there are pencil notations here and there. The book contains 221 pages with 27 chapters and this book was used in most of the early Training Schools. It is fun to see what was being taught to nursing students over 100 years ago and see what has changed and what is still the same.
