This is a full-length petticoat made for a little girl’s doll. The wide crocheted border and hem at the bottom suggest that it was cut down from an adult undergarment. It’s difficult to put a date on when this dress was made, but I believe it dates to the early 1900s.

The petticoat measures 16-1/2 inches from waist to hem, and the waistband is 11 inches. The sturdy cotton fabric is age-browned and stained, and the closing at the waist is missing.

This doll's garment has been washed and ironed, and comes to you from our smoke-free, pet-free home. It will be carefully folded, packaged with a backing board and plastic sleeve and shipped by first class mail in a bubble envelope. Postal insurance may be declined if not desired.
