This Popular Science magazine is the August 1956 issue. The feature articles are on the NBC television coverage of the Democratic and Republican conventions of that year, and the construction of the DEW (Distant Early Warning) line of radar stations in the frozen Arctic.

The back cover features photos of 16 well-known baseball players promoting Camel cigarettes.

The magazine is in very good condition with no missing pages, tears or stains, although there is a crease beginning on the back cover through the last few pages. The binding is tight and the magazine appears not to have been read or even opened up.

The magazine will be packaged with a backing board and plastic sleeve in a bubble envelope, and shipped by first class mail. Postal insurance may be declined if not desired.
