Two Postcard Views of St. Paul’s and Ludgate Hill, London

The photos on these two postcards were taken from approximately the same position, showing St. Paul’s Cathedral in the background and the elevated roadway across the street. The same building on the right has a Bravington’s advertisement. Both cards were published in the years between the two World Wars.

The black-and-white postcard was published by W. & S. Lane in London.There is a 1/2-inch tear at the top right and damage at the two bottom corners.

The color postcard has a brief description of the view on the back. It has a glossy finish and is in very good condition. Both prints are sharp and clear, with lots of detail.

These postcards will be packaged in a rigid plastic sleeve and bubble envelope, and shipped by first class mail. Postal insurance may be declined if not desired.
