This children’s book is titled “Tom Edison Finds Out”, and the child who reads it can find out all about Thomas Edison and his famous inventions.

The book is one of the “Really Truly” series by Sadyebeth and Anson Lowitz. The cute color and black-and-white illustrations are by Anson Lowitz.

This book was copyrighted in 1940 by Grosset & Dunlap, and is presumed to be a first edition, as there is no statement of later printing on the copyright page. There is a gift inscription on the endpaper dated 1941.

The book has paper-covered boards over a red fabric spine. The book is in good condition, with some damage at the top and bottom of the spine. The cover paper edges are worn, and the back has some spots of a substance that might be nail polish. The binding is tight. The interior pages are in good condition, with no tears or creases, although there are some lightly soiled areas on the front endpaper and a few of the pages.

The book contains 50 pages, and measures approximately 8-1/2 by 7-1/4 inches. There is no dust jacket.
