1916 Child’s Fairy Tale Story and Activity Book

This children’s book is entitled: “The Magic Fairy Tale Drawing Book”. The book was copyrighted and published in 1916 by the Henry Altemus Company in Philadelphia. This is a first edition.

On the left side of each double page is a story, and on the right side is a connect-the-dots picture illustrating the story. All the pictures have been completed in pencil, most quite neatly with some erasures. At the back of the book are four pages without text where a child has numbered and drawn a picture of his/her own.

The book has beige fabric hardcover boards, with a paste-down color illustration. The book measures approximately 7-3/4 by 10-1/4 inches, and contains 43 numbered pages.

Condition is good overall. There is some minor soiling and rubbing to the covers and the spine is slightly shelf-worn. The hinge is tight and there are no cracks at the endpapers.

This book will be protectively packaged and shipped in a box by media mail, including postal insurance within the US. International postal insurance may be declined if not desired.
