My shop is a mix of vintage costume jewelry, buttons, clothing, books, postcards, sheet music, ephemera, photos, and more.
The book was published by the Paul Revere Club in Portland. There is an extensive history of Freemasonry in Maine in the previous 200 years, with particular emphasis on the Portland Lodge #1. There are several other articles on various aspects of Masonry, including Eastern Star and Rainbow for Girls, and descriptions of the various degree levels. There are several black-and-white photos of the Maine Masonic leadership.
The book measures 9 by 11-3/4 inches and contains 94 pages printed on high-quality glossy paper. About half the book consists of space advertising for just about every business in Portland at the time, or so it seems. Condition overall is good, with creasing on the front cover, rubbing on both covers, and some light foxing on the first and last pages.
This soft-cover book will be packaged with a backing board and plastic sleeve in a large bubble envelope, and shipped by media mail, with postal insurance included within the US. International postal insurance may be declined if not desired.
